Osteopathy helps treat problems by correcting and improving the body's natural healing mechanisms. Treatment includes advice on factors such as posture and lifestyle and advice is also given on appropriate exercises for rehabilitation.

The number of treatments that are needed depends very much on the nature of the problem. Some acute problems can be dealt with in one or two sessions, chronic problems may take a longer course of treatment and there are many people who see their osteopath periodically on a maintenance basis.

Our osteopaths are highly knowledgeable and can offer a wealth of experience. During your first consultation, an extensive medical history will usually be taken to help make an accurate diagnosis of the problem and if osteopathy is appropriate, an examination will then be carried out to make a full assessment. The duration of the course of treatment will depend on the individual.

Our osteopaths work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and are usually able to offer same day appointments.
